The Grytte staff presents its fifth annual dedication to Dr. Brett Wisniewski, beloved Middle and Upper School Classics teacher.

Dr. Wisniewski has taught at Browning for 9 years, and he has inspired a love of learning and the classics in a generation of Browning students. He has played a pivotal role in developing Latin comprehension skills of his students through his in-depth courses on Latin grammar and literature. In addition to Latin, Dr. Wisniewski has also taught courses on ancient Greek language and philosophy during his time at Browning, providing his students with a multi-faceted view of the classical world.

In addition to teaching, Dr. Wisniewski also runs the peer leadership program, and his instrumental role in organizing activities such as the three-day trip to Frost Valley has helped to create fond memories and meaningful experiences for many high school students.

Both inside and outside of the classroom, Dr. Wisniewski is always willing to engage with his students in lively and thought-provoking conversation, and his broad knowledge and compassion has made an impact on many within the Browning community. He will be greatly missed next year as he moves on to the next chapter in his career.
