On May 25, 2020, George Floyd died in Minneapolis, Minnesota while being arrested by the police. This incident sparked weeks of protests in major cities across America against the killing of George Floyd, police brutality, and systemic racism in American society.
The Browning Grytte and the Saint Ann’s Ram conducted a newspaper exchange before the pandemic, with student reporters touring each other’s schools for a day in order to observe the academic experience and community.
